Reactive Chemicals
One of Microtek’s primary areas of expertise
is the microencapsulation of reactive chemicals. A few reactive
materials that we have microencapsulated
include:
- organic peroxides such as benzoyl peroxide, di-T-butyl peroxides and
others
- percarbonate, persulfates and perborates inorganic oxidizers
- polyurethane catalysts and accelerators such as dibuty tin
dilaurate
- acrylic monomers
- epoxy resins
- epoxy curing agents and hardeners (limited
success)
