Research and Development is a strategic emphasis for Microtek. Our chemists have over a century of combined experience. Our technological skills are readily applied to a broad range of applications. Since its inception in 1985, Microtek’s mission has been to leverage its expertise in microencapsulation for the benefit of its clients. We take pride in our ability to innovate and design new microencapsulated processes and materials for even the most demanding projects.

Applications for microencapsulation are growing in size and proliferating in number. In fact, the art and science of microencapsulation has given way to more opportunities for the development of, and improvement of, products and processes than could ever be imagined by just one company. Consequently, many of Microtek’s customers consist of those who have come to us with only a concept of what they “think” could be encapsulated. These ideas have lead to proprietary products that are now being used throughout the world.

At Microtek, we are interested in developing and maintaining relationships with our customers that provide sustainable growth and development. Consequently, we partner with our clients, make contractual proprietary agreements with them (as necessary), pursue patents, or do whatever else is necessary to assist them in bringing their concepts to fruition. We are proud of our reputation for providing high quality technical services and products, as well as, quick response time to our customers’ needs and requests.
