Laboratory Services CONCEPT FEASIBILITY STUDIES
At Microtek, we welcome your ideas
and concepts. With our fully equipped laboratory and combined
technological experience in the art and science of
microencapsulation, we will assess your concepts and
suggest what experimental work may be necessary to determine
the feasibility of microencapsulating your material.
 We provide honest feedback to our customers,
not only as to the assessment of whether a product can be produced,
but whether it can be produced affordably. Occasionally, we may
be able to provide a small “off-the-shelf” prototype
sample of microcapsules to the client for evaluating “proof-of-concept”.
Or, we may need to prepare either one or a
series of special samples to determine the feasibility of microencapsulating
a particular material. Depending on
potential volume of the microencapsulated product and the market
opportunity, we may need to charge for time and
materials to prepare these feasibility samples.
